July 2025: New Zapier Triggers, Enhancement & Bug Fixes

New in Zapier: More Dynamic Triggers and Enhanced Actions

We’re excited to announce several updates to our Zapier integration that make it even easier to automate your workflows and connect with your favorite tools.

  • New Payment-Related Triggers You can now set up Zaps that respond to key payment events. This allows you to automate follow-up emails, update your CRM, or kick off any other workflows whenever a payment is made — saving you time and ensuring your records stay up to date.

  • New Customer-Fund–Related Triggers In addition to payment events, we’ve introduced new triggers tied to customer fund activities. You can now automatically react to changes in customer balances or other fund-related events, helping you build more dynamic and responsive automations.

  • Improved Contact and Customer Actions We’ve enhanced the Create / Update Contact and Create Customer actions to better handle duplicates. Now, if a contact or customer already exists, the system can update the existing record rather than creating a new one — reducing manual cleanup and keeping your data clean.

  • New “Assign User to Tasks” Action Managing tasks just got easier. With our new Assign User to Tasks action, you can automatically assign tasks to specific team members based on your defined workflows. This ensures nothing falls through the cracks and that the right people are always looped in.

We squashed the bug — and gave your features a power-up!

  • Resolved an issue where the Quote Report sometimes returned no data.
  • Jobs in restored Sales Orders now correctly appear in search results.
  • Invoices now display a clear, detailed breakdown of all taxes, including multi-line taxes.
  • Addresses are now fully visible inline — no hovering needed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused CSV exports of Tax Reports to fail intermittently. Exports are now reliable.
  • Duplicate emails for the same address on Sales Orders have been eliminated.
  • All PDF templates now include consistent, formatted currency fields with proper symbols and separators — improving clarity across invoices, quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and job services.
  • Invoice PDFs now show the correct issue date instead of the creation date.
  • Added new filters (e.g., "Has Not Invoiced Items", "Has Over Invoiced Items") and improved sorting options.
  • The portal now defaults to the Sales Orders tab, and the selected tab can be bookmarked.
  • New customer portal links added to Sales Order and Quote triggers for easier access to view and pay.
