August Tune-Up: Smarter Features, Fewer Bugs

August Tune-Up: Smarter Features, Fewer Bugs

Custom Product Total on Sales Order Entry

You can now override the product total while adding a product, giving you more control and flexibility when creating sales orders.

Report Dashboard Enhancement: Group Data by Week or Month

We've introduced new grouping options that allow you to organize report data by week or month. This enhancement is designed to improve the readability and visualization of large datasets, helping you identify trends and insights more easily.

New Recalculate Option on Customer Screen

We've introduced a manual recalculation option to address rare cases where customer data—such as Lifetime Value, Unpaid Amount, or Last Ordered Date—may become outdated. This allows you to instantly sync the values without waiting for an order update.

Modernized QuickBooks Settings Interface

The QuickBooks Settings page has been redesigned with a modern user interface to improve the overall look and feel. As part of this enhancement, we've also added more detailed information about taxes to help users make more informed choices.

Job List: One-Click Sales Order View

We've updated the context menu on the Job List page by adding a new "View Sales Order in a New Tab" option. Additionally, we've renamed "View" to "View Job" and changed "Go to Page" to "View Job in a New Tab," which now opens the job in a separate tab for easier navigation

Refreshed Stock Adjustment Reason Page in Settings

The Stock Adjustment Reason page has been updated to align with the modern UI design used across the rest of the application, providing a more consistent and streamlined user experience.

Improved Profile Page Interface

Profile information, previously displayed in a dialog, is now presented on a dedicated page for a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.

Updated Status Settings Experience

We've refreshed the Status Settings page with an updated user interface that aligns with our latest design system, making it more visually consistent and easier to navigate.

New UI for Payment Settings Page

Payment Settings page has been redesigned to follow our new UI style and while we were at it, we also fixed some bugs. It should feel more modern and robust.

No Glitches, No Gimmicks — Just Fixed

  • We removed the duplicate vendor name display in search results that appeared due to a Purchase Order Search bug.

  • Sales Orders now automatically fetch updated pricing when new services are added, resolving the Service Pricing Auto-Refresh issue.

  • To ensure buttons remain accessible, we made the Global Search job preview panel scrollable, addressing the Job Preview Panel Scrolling bug.

  • We fixed the Customer Portal Invoice bug where invoices appeared overdue when no payment due date was set.

  • A Sales Order Ship By Date bug was corrected, which previously prevented users from selecting the current date.

  • We resolved a Task Date UTC Conversion issue that caused improper timezone handling for task dates.

  • The Zapier Task Status Event bug that triggered events on every status change — instead of only the configured ones — has been fixed.

  • A fix is now in place for the Cloning Line Items Pricing bug, where pricing disappeared after cloning an already-cloned custom line item.

  • We restored the missing deposit and Created By fields in Sales Order PDFs, addressing the Sales Order PDF Missing Info issue.

  • The 4x6 Job Label PDF Date Error was fixed by correcting the display so that the production start date no longer shows the due date.

  • We addressed PDF Time zone Errors by ensuring all date fields in templates reflect your team’s time zone.

  • The Zapier Payment Trigger Order Load bug is resolved; order details now load correctly during payment-triggered events.

  • After completing a Stock Take, the Stock Adjustment Dialog now opens as expected, fixing the Stock Take Adjustment Dialog issue.

  • The Shippo Token bug has been fixed so expired tokens now prompt for reauthentication instead of incorrectly showing the app as disconnected.

  • We also restored the ability to hide pricing when creating a sales order, resolving the Hide Pricing on Sales Order Create Page bug — especially useful in customer-facing situations.

  • Fixed an issue where Square payments for Quotes processed outside of YoPrint were not being properly captured, ensuring more reliable payment handling.

Enjoy the upgrades — and if you spot another bug hiding behind a dropdown, just know: we're already sharpening our digital flyswatter.
